About Techshot: Who We Are

Founded in 1988, Techshot is an engineering and product development company. Put another way, we are a company of professional inventors.

With 35 team members, nearly all of whom are engineers, scientists or technicians, Techshot has the capability to research, design, develop, fabricate, assemble, test, verify, integrate, train employees in the operation of, and provide operational and maintenance support for a broad spectrum of products.

Techshot’s capabilities were forged in the crucible of manned space flight. Our earliest projects were developed for NASA, for whom we developed payloads for seven space shuttle missions, three sub-orbital rocket flights and several parabolic aircraft sorties, as well as providing space hardware integration services.

Our success with NASA led to a number of ongoing contracts with various branches of the military. From these early projects, we expanded into the commercial arena. Our success in winning SBIR and STTR contracts led us to offer our clients assistance in obtaining these contracts for themselves.

Though specializing in turnkey product development solutions, Techshot also can provide assistance with any individual portion of a development program or experiment.

A Team of Experts.

The Techshot team includes mechanical, electrical, software, structural, thermal, systems and chemical engineers and technicians, plus a Ph.D. biophysicist and a medical doctor. You get the benefit of more than 700 years of combined experience.
