At Techshot, automation touches nearly every project we develop, and draws from every discipline at our disposal, including mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial and quality control.

In space, astronaut crew time is severely limited, so processes need to be as automated as possible. This absolute need for reliable automation has shaped our focus and our ability to develop automated processes for all types of corporations and organizations.

Our comprehensive services cover every aspect of automation from design and production to installation, implementation and training.

Nearly all of our automation customers already have engineering departments. In many cases, their own engineers are kept busy maintaining existing products or keeping existing machinery operating. Occupied with keeping existing systems moving, they lack the time to develop completely new products or optimize their manufacturing processes.

Other clients come to us because their engineers are proficient with one or two technologies, but may not be as immersed in the latest thinking in other critical or developing areas as we are. Things get done, but perhaps not as efficiently or effectively as they could.

We have on staff 30 permanent, full-time engineers, scientists and technicians with a variety of specialties and areas of expertise. This multidisciplinary environment acts as a sort of “hothouse” where ideas can cross pollinate and develop. As a result, solutions developed for one industry can often be adapted to challenges faced by other unrelated industries.
